Reigning Africa Cup of Nations football champion Egypt has defeated Nigeria 3-1 in their opening Group C match at the Ombaka Stadium in Benguela, Angola. Tuesday’s victory in the match between two of the top teams ended a 23-year-old winless streak the Egyptians had against the Nigerians Nigeria took the lead after 14 minutes on a powerful left-footed shot by Chinedu Obasi from outside the box . . .
